Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to lead our technical operations in Basra. You will be responsible for overseeing complex electrical systems, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining our rigorous safety standards across all project phases. This role is pivotal in driving our energy infrastructure projects forward, requiring a blend of technical expertise and leadership capability.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems for industrial energy projects.

Supervise and mentor a team of junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

Collaborate with project managers to define electrical scopes, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with overall project goals.

Conduct detailed technical audits and root cause analysis for system failures, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors for the procurement of specialized electrical equipment and services.
Technical Requirements
Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
8+ years of experience in Energy/Oil & Gas
Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred
Software & Tools
Proficiency in ETAP and AutoCAD
Strong knowledge of SCADA systems
Experience with SAP PM module
